Pear, Feta and Basil Salad

In honor of National Nutrition Month and because spring is just around the corner (we hope!) here is a great salad recipe.Ingredients3 ripe pears (peeled if desired)1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn6 ounces feta, crumbled1/2 cup toasted pecans1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil4 teaspoon balsamic vinegarfresh ground black pepper6 cups mixed salad greensPreparationCut each pear into 6 to 8 wedges, and then cut in half. Combine the pears with basil, feta and pecans, add to salad greens. Combine oil, vinegar and ground pepper, shake to blend.
