Individual Diet Counseling

Individual Diet Counseling

If you’re looking for authentic, science-based nutrition advice, trust a Registered Dietitian.

We are appropriately trained with at least one degree in nutrition and formal clinical training for 9-12 months after college.  We also must pass a registration exam and obtain 15 hours of continuing education each year we’re in practice.  I have been in practice since 1990.

I see adults (aged 18 and up) and have experience with arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, celiac disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disease, infertility, PCOS, obesity, weight loss/weight gain, nutrition support (tube feeding and IV nutrition) and general wellness/disease prevention.  I do not work with eating disordered clients or those with food allergies or renal disease, but am happy to refer to other RDs that do.

Individual diet counseling sessions are 45-60 minutes and include: One-day sample meal/calorie plan, meal ideas, recipes and health articles for your condition. Information is provided after your visit via email.  I also send your healthcare practitioner a progress note after our meeting.

I have a small office inside Cincinnati Functional Fitness at 5005 Barrow Ave.  Look for the blue building near the I-71 on-ramp across from Steak n Shake off of Ridge Ave.   www.cincyfit.com.  Call 513-675-6780 or email lisa@soundbitesnutrition.com for an appointment.
